In a dystopian 2021, Johnny is a data trafficker who has an implant that allows him to securely store data too sensitive for regular computer networks. On one delivery run, he accepts a package that not only exceeds the implant's safety limits—and will kill him if the data is not removed in time—but also contains information far more important and valuable than he had ever imagined. On a race against time, he must avoid the assassins sent to kill him and remove the data before it, too, ends his life.

"Just before it’s was taken off of Netflix I got a chance to watch it. The cyberpunk setting and the premise of data couriers were the coolest part but the basic things like the tacked on romance and the race against time make this a boring movie because you know how it’s going to end. Less than Blade Runner the world was the coolest character of this movie. "

"This is barely a movie. Every time I thought it reached peak stupidity, it jumped up 5 more notches. It takes place in 2021, has some "interesting" takes on cyberpunk. This came out before The Matrix and Keanu is basically Neo in this too. It even has an arguably more accurate depiction of VR than The Matrix, even some recent sci-fi. Of course, they still use fax machines in this future, so it's not exactly prophetic. Bad acting, bad fx, a good time all around. Look out for Dolph Lindgren too!"

"ngl i think this film predicted 2021. late-stage capitalistic hellscape, plague that disproportionately affects the poor, absurdly sci-fi tech, hot keanu reeves. however it fvcking sucks. i love it. 9/10 and + 1 point for jones, my aquatic homie, so 10/10 "
