"3.25⭐️ A sci fi time travel slasher satire?! Yeah I really wish I could’ve loved it. I thought they would’ve switched up the stereotypical victim trope plus made it smarter and funnier at the same time. It’s an ok way to get some Halloween on but there’s nothing terribly special about it. I’m also just really over the graphic stabbing of teen girls. The 80s time travel was fun but kinda ruined for me by how mean and stupid everyone was supposed to be back then I guess. I’m all for *woke* themes but it felt like I was getting hit over the head again and again with how backward everything in the 20th century was. Sure we’re more societally aware of certain things now but are people actually nicer and smarter? I think not! Sorry but my inner bitter old lady is coming out now. Get off my lawn! "

"This one of those good enough movies. Kinda fun and cool but not funny enough or scary enough to be a good horror comedy. Likable cast. But the reason it could stand out is because they absolutely nail the 1987 fashion of the day, or what I like to call the unsexiest period of the last 100 years. Well, all except the hair. "
"I watched this recently and thought it was a fun little movie, it’s not perfect by any means but I don’t think it was trying to be. There where some editing and Cinematography inconsistencies that where a little distracting to me and some plot points that had me asking questions about how that would work exactly but that’s just what happens when you put time travel into the mix of a story. Overall though I think it’s worth a watch, it’s funny and fun and I think that’s what they where aiming for."
"I thought based on the mask with the earring that this was a homophobic film and that they were saying a gay guy was the killer. I have no idea what the mask is actually of. I read into it and people are saying that it’s an 80’s slasher parody making fun of what people did in the 80’s movies. It’s not the greatest film and I’m not a fan of slasher films, but this was the best slasher film I have seen. The only gore is a bloody hand that you can hardly see and blood on clothes from people being stabbed. So it’s not scary at all which I like. I’m not sure I would ever watch it again, but if like a buddy wanted to, I wouldn’t oppose it. "
"The movie kept me interested from start to finish with great acting! I guessed correctly who was the killer, but the plot twist was expected and it did disappoint."
