"Very good horror podcast that is the PERFECT amount and type of scary. It has an overarching plot with well-developed characters that you can easily get attached to, but if you wanted to you could just enjoy the stories in each episode. Most of the episodes are supposed to be like archival recordings of stories told to "The Magnus Institute.""
"This podcast was literally incredible. The voice acting and the special effects added to the audio were absolutely divine. I can’t describe how quickly I fell in love with the characters, and I would like to say THAT I CALLED JON AND MARTIN FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!! I am also in denial about the ending, soooo take that as you will. This podcast was my first real dive into fiction podcasts and let me just say my expectations for fiction podcasts after this are VERY high. Another thing I loved about this podcast was the motif with the recorders, how we the audience are the literal recordings, and we only hear what they hear. It’s a very interesting structure and I am literally obsessed. I devoured this podcast in three weeks, and it is very binge worthy. "
"Well written, well performed, and well executed. What seemingly starts as an anthology of unrelated events, slowly weaves many of the archive's stories into a sprawling, yet cohesive, downward spiral of a macabre world that does its best to consume both the characters and the listener. Highly recommend for those that love horror anthologies, as well as long term storytelling. "
"Great British supernatural horror series. Each episode follows a new mystery, intertwining threads and characters across episodes and seasons, creating a bigger picture. Pay attention-you won’t guess the directions this will go in. Many seasons to listen to."
