Oh my gosh. I don’t really read many fiction books but this it’s in my top three favorite books now for sure. I’m usually really good at predicting endings but this caught me off guard so many times. I couldn’t put it down. Highly recommend!!!

Loved it. But, I had to stop reading a few times. It was gory. Definitely a crazy twist at the end! Great book!!!

Oh my gosh. This book has been probably the best fiction book ever. There 557 pages. I finished it in 3.5 days. I couldn’t put it down!!!

Another one added to my “favorite of all time” list. The mix between historical, political, informative, and raw emotion Ron Powers puts into this book is truly amazing. I can feel his pain through his words. It’s a topic that in 2021/2022 is just now becoming a “normal” topic. Mental health has always been a huge problem in millions of people and they need to be advocated for and that’s what he does! Definitely recommend everyone to read this one!

It’s a good book for straight forward facts and the where is it now aspect. I love true crime and historical crime but I’ve come to realize from reading this book that I’m more or a true crime from victims/victim family/detective/criminal point of view due to having some emotion and back story in the book. Not a terrible read though. There are some great facts for some background knowledge for future reads in this book!
