I cried, I laughed. I cried some more. This is the look into death that I wasn’t prepared for, but was so grateful I got. My own grandfather spent his last months losing himself to his sickness in a hospital bed. Reading this made me feel close to him again. I recommend for a wonderful story, and many more in between.

Charming and wholesome. It reads with the spunky personality of Julia without sacrificing the details and little insights to her life stationed in France. One of the few comfort books I own.
