Excellent remake of the book! A great movie for pre teens to resonate with coming of age feelings, but also a tear jerker for other ages as it ignites feelings of nostalgia and the family bonds between mother and daughter, childhood friends and experiences, and grandma/granddaughter relationships. I cried like a baby in the theater 😆
