Kept me guessing throughout and I was not super prepared for the shocker. Interesting concept with it being entirely through phone, computer, or any video camera. 4/5 stars.

This was honestly a very fascinating read. If I had no idea that this book was fiction, I could have sworn that it was actual historical text. It is written in a way that makes it believable. I like to think that the author threw a dart on a board with a president name and another with occupations and just went with it. Overall it was an exciting and captivating book. 5/5 Stars.

(spoilers) I was gifted this book because my friend saw some good reviews about it and she knew that I liked psychological thriller type books. I was a little worried because I heard that it was a little overhyped however I do think it was the perfect amount of hype. The short chapters made it more enticing to read and made it easier to go through it. I honestly could have finished it in a day if I had not paste myself. I was not expecting the twist that occurred. Not once did I think Theo was the one behind it. If he had not intervened, Alicia would not have killed her husband it truly was a twist that made me put the book down and audibly say what out loud. However it lost a half a star rating because the story just ends. I would have wished there was an epilogue to kind of wrap it up. Overall a four and a half out of five stars.

A very fun read. I picked it up because it looked like a VHS tape and I am so glad I did. It's a fun story about friendship and possessions. Sprinkled throughout were 80s references that gave the story q more authentic feel. I found this story to have the perfect mix of horror, thriller, and comedy without being too over the top. My only complaint is that there was one loose end that I felt was not resolved. Overall a 4/5 stars.

Honestly a very smart thriller. It shows the story from both sides, and while yes we could guess what was happening. It wasn't a total cliche. 4/5 stars.
