"The moment I saw she was dealing with baby weight, and she was something of a partier . I thought she began well as a relatable character. Okay this might be interesting, thought I. However as the season progress , the soppier the music, the more ' I am vunerable ' shots, the more I wanted to put the writer on the rack! Forgive me , but for a show that began with promise , the writer got lazy and started to throw in characters that just seem there as fodder and there were more plot holes than a brick of Swiss cheese! I did like some of the series ' other characters and part of the plot was different but the writer and the director took an interesting character and took her in a direction that left her with no credibility and the viewer feeling manipulated and frustrated. She could have been more logical and less flaky! Her husband and his absence wasn't explained very well . The writer used every trope and cliche in the attempt of reaching a deadline rather than thinking about the question why and how. "
