Supergirl

"It's a good show that I truly enjoyed watching when it first came out. The amount of women empowerment moments can be a lot sometimes, and it's especially annoying in the finales. It's not even supergirl that I'm talking about there. It's the lines some of the characters have. It's clear they're just pandering to feminists and it's honestly annoying. However, when you get past that it's fun. The writing when it's not trying to push women rule is actually incredible. Cat Grant is my favorite character and I adore her in every episode I have seen. Now she's how you do female empowerment without outright doing so. She screams power and wit while still being her. The episodes are a bit repetitive of the flash but it still is it's own thing. Winn is fun, James is okay, Lucy is cool, and I love hank. We don't need to talk about Alex. Too much to unpack there and half the time I do root for her to not make it. She's a valued character, she's just also annoying. But I do love most characters in this show. Super girl is what you want her to be, the same with Kara. I adore the 18th episode of season one when the flash arrives. I rewatch that episode all the time. So cool. But I have a problem staying invested in this show. I've finished the first season, second too, but after that I can barely watch it. Even the second season recently is hard to get through. I want to finish it because I love the team up episodes but I just can't stay with it. So yes I do like the show but I can't vouch for past season 1."
