"3.5⭐
Very intriguing book, and beautifully written. Not my usual type of book, but good nonetheless. I found it a little slow in the beginning and kind of hard to follow at times (I listened to the audio book, and my attention was divided, so that was probably my own fault lol) but I still definitely enjoyed it. It's worth checking out!"
"First off I have been listening to the audiobooks that Neil Gaimen narrates himself and I have to say they make these story's into something unforgettable. You can hear the passion and love he has for his work. It lulls you in building the world around you. I cannot get enough of it. I am just such a fan of the writing style and the way he depicts the child's imagination. I fell hard for the characters but it breaks my heart when you are very young or old and something so horrific happens that you have no one to turn to no one who believes in you. It has been one of my biggest fears. There is always a light though or a friend you will find to rely on. Neil has a warm whimsical way of telling these dark truths."
