"I would call myself a hopeless romantic. I dote romances of all kinds including romcoms, enemy’s-to-lovers, cheesy, fantasy and books so steamy I could cook eggs on. but with that being said, this book was a piece that made up the whole cake. Despite that, I can’t hold back mentioning the age differences of the characters got a little cringe uncomfortable. I do feel the author made Tiernan much more mature for her age but I would’ve felt more comfortable with her a couple years older. "
"This book was sooooo ridiculous that it was addicting. I don’t know how else to explain it. I couldn’t stop reading. It was so inappropriate but soooo entertaining. It was wild and so nastyyyyyy. I’m just disappointed with the ending. That’s why I give it a 3.5 instead of a 4. It was so rushed and I feel like she chose the wrong one. "
"**SPOILERS**
Went into this book cold, so I had no idea it was going to be as spicy as it was. I also had no idea it was going to detail the passing around of a young girl, between two brothers and their dad. Something so dysfunctional and was overall like a bad *****.
BUT 3 starts because there was so much potential in the writing. I felt like this could have been a beautifully written contemporary if it just stuck to the main character finding a father figure, a sibling bond and a lover instead of being passed around by all 3 of them. Ick. Her writing allows for the beauty of it all, but it completely fell short. "
"This was really hard for me to rate because it was super entertaining, I read it in less than 2 days and was the spiciest book I’ve ever read. I didn’t want to put it down! However, some of the things in here though were pretty uncomfortable. There was also some questions that weren’t answered for me. Overall, I really enjoyed it and if you like taboo, then you’ll probably enjoy! Can always count on her books when I’m in a spicy mood lol. "
