"I read some books by this author and decided to read this one and it didn’t disappoint. She captures the feelings of the characters so well. Read the whole series, I believe there are four books to this series. I read before these series, “The Year without Michael”, the little women series and “About David”. The series and “The Year without Michael” made me cry."

"This entire series is one of my favorites. I love the way it is written. It’s a page turner but not in an action packed way. For me, I became deeply invested in these characters. I usually dislike books written in the form of the diary but it made me feel the anxiety, hardships, and small moments of happiness and relief much harder. A great read that I definitely recommend."
