"The irony of reading this book after Dan Brown’s “Origin” is not lost on me...Neil deGrasse Tyson was actually mentioned in that story. But the truth is, I’m a nerd and science sparks my interest. Plus, I’ve really loved the science fiction I’ve read this year, so who knows, maybe this is my new thing.<br/><br/>That being said, yeah, I read all this book and still don’t feel like I really absorbed what it is that astrophysicists do. It’s all very mysterious, and it involves a lot of unknowns, which would take a much different personality than mine to deal with. But I suppose that’s why I’m not a scientist. Still, it was so fascinating, and I’m sure I’ll be sharing tidbits of this in the future. I guess that’s a safer topic than politics for Thanksgiving at least. If it get awkward I’ll just launch into dark matter theories. Super fun, right?"

Lots of very complex concepts dumbed down but still confusing and way over my head. Neil Degrassi Tyson kept me entertained and interested but I definitely had a hard time.
