"Not the first time I've seen this but it was my daughter's first time. A wonderful coming-of-age movie based on Stephen King's book, The Body. The only thing I didn't get was why they didn't show more fear for their future in Castle Rock because I'm pretty sure Ace was psychotic enough to literally kill them! Will Wheaton went on to be Wesley in Star Trek: The Next Generation while Corey Feldman went on to have a fun career with his best friend Corey Haim (rest in peace). Jerry O'Connell went on to lose all that baby fat and was famous for several shows and his marriage to John Stamos's ex, Rebecca Romijn. Keifer Sutherland has many great Brat Pack movies under his belt and became the ever-popular, Jack Bayer. He also went on to star in Young Guns with another actor from Stand By My, Casey Siemaszko. With the other incredible acting chops of River Phoenix (rest in peace), John Cusack, and Richard Dreyfus, I can't recommend this movie enough! Always a favorite, if you haven't seen this yet, I suggest you do."
