Jamie PublicoverWow, wow, wow. I did not really follow this case but had heard about it. Apparently, I'm not on the part of YouTube where Mormon's exploit their children for views... But anyway, this case is crazy. It just shows you how easily brainwashing and religion can turn someone into an abuser with no sense of true right or wrong. What they did to those children is horrific. Listen for yourself.
Jamie PublicoverNate Bargatze might be my new favorite comedian. His dry, sarcastic humor is spot-on. I love that he can be hilarious even without doing any R rated jokes. He makes fun of everyday mundane things, and somehow, it's so funny and engaging.
Jamie PublicoverVery heartwarming documentary. It allows you to see a side of Will Ferrell that makes you fall in love with him even more as a human being. It is a story of true friendship, with all its flaws and hardships, but it is real and raw. It was such an impactful watch and overall story, paying homage to the Midwestern transgender communities that grew up surrounded by people who didn't understand them (and still do), but providing hope for the future. It shows that no matter what age you are, it's never too late to allow your truth to be told and become your authentic self. β€οΈπ©·π§‘ππππ©΅π (and screw all the haters!)
Jamie PublicoverThis is so dark and creepy, and I love it. I never knew I needed a show about a girl's high school soccer team stranded in the wilderness worshipping a dark force and basically forming a murderous cannibalistic cult...
Jamie PublicoverThis was an audiobook read with a great narrator who felt authentic. This book weaves the tales of several individuals across centuries by binding their stories with a single drop of water. I learned so much about ancient Mesopotamia from this book as well as some of the atrocities committed in modern-day Syria. This narrative historical fiction is a must-read for our generation, and many generations to come.
Jamie PublicoverThis was an excellent thriller with an amazing and satisfying ending. Amanda Seyfried was amazing in this. Highly recommend the watch.
Jamie PublicoverAbsolutely love, love, LOVED James McAvoy in this. His ability to be creepy was amazing. I loved the little moments throughout the movie that were red flags, and I was glad the curtain wasn't ripped away until the last quarter of the movie, which was excellent. This is based on a 2022 Danish film of the same name and basically an exact remake, so it may also be worth the watch. They even have a little Easter egg hinting towards the original movie, which I thought was nice.
Jamie PublicoverThis was a silly Jack Whitehall scripted comedy special, which in some ways felt a little bit like an episode of the travel channel. I enjoyed all the celeb cameos, especially Michael Buble, essentially as the Grinch/Scrooge of Christmas.
