This has become a classic in the minds of a lot of horror enthusiasts and while I don’t necessarily think it deserves to be in that category I do think it’s a step above Grave Encounters which shares essentially an identical premise but is an inferior product compared. Solid acting performances all around but what sets this a step above is the technical prowess of the director. Some of the shots are excellent and even though nothing happens in them just makes you feel a sense of dread and expect the shadows to come alive. A truly solid and fun found footage horror movie. "
