"Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this one. I'm not sure what their target audience was, but to enjoy the movie you need to know quite a lot already about Reagan and the time period. It appeared to me that they made an effort to explain what was happening, but the editing only made it more confusing. On top of that, the style of the movie had sudden shifts, for example, one scene that felt like they switched the channel to SNL for a few minutes (my favorite part actually). This movie is probably great for some, but it's definitely for a very niche audience, so I wouldn't recommend to most. 2/5🎬🇺🇲"
"It was interesting to see how Reagan initially got into politics, but it seems a bit glorified as to his impact of single handily causing the fall of communism in the Soviet Union. Some of the cinematography was odd to me…parts looked like bad AI, some seemed like a Hallmark movie, and other parts fine. Definitely felt longer than it needed to be. My hubby liked it more than I did, perhaps because he is already well versed in the era and events, yet he agreed that if it wasn’t for them flashing the names of some key people on the screen, we would have no idea who they were supposed to be. It was mostly a “Meh” for me. "

"I haven’t seen a bukkake fest for a politician like this since MAGA. The glazing in this movie is way too much that it just seems like fan fiction by the director. 1 1/2 stars"

"We watched Reagan in our local theater recently.
I loved the movie! For me it was a walk through American history and brought back so many childhood memories for me.
The script stayed true to a simple version of Reagan's beliefs that were personal and yet translated into the political so well.
I was not completely sold on Dennis Quaid's aging makeup, however.
