"I'm a sucker for any underwater documentaries or anything about sea life so I was looking forward to watching this one. It did not disappoint. The octopus truly is an amazing creature, I was completely enthralled with everything about it, from its ability to change colors, the multiple ways that it moves, to its obvious cunning and intelligence in regards to everyday survival. I found myself fully invested in its well being and was actually sad when it reached the end of its life. The connection that this man made with this animal is truly astounding, and the footage is beautiful and incredible to behold. My only criticism is the narrator's voice is so monotone that if I wasn't so interested in the octopus, his voice would have lulled me to sleep. 💤 But I can forgive that. I loved this documentary. 9/10."
"This movie started out so odd to me to the point I almost cut it off ………I was literally thinking where is this going? lol then finally I saw what the premise was. And still I can’t help but feel like it’s a tad bit overhype but it’s a good film. Just not as good as I thought it would be. "
