"4.25⭐️ Hey I guess I can understand why some folks might not like this one. It’s overly long, overblown and unrestrained .. and the meta-est of meta movies. Ever. To say it doesn’t always know when to quit is an understatement. But… ALL of it IS what makes it so much fun! I really love anything that’s constantly winking at itself, which is basically this WHOLE film AND its ENTIRE point of course. Sure it doesn’t always quite hit either but it does hit a lot and mostly right on the head. Ryan is at PEAK level charisma these days. It makes the irony strike that the supposed-to-be-Cruise-level-megastar he was doubling for is a pale comparison to HIM 😂 Though Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays some off the wall absurdity in that brand, especially the final scenes with his hilariously just off the nose imitation of a notably beloved actor (no not Cruise lol). I was never NOT entertained. And now really NEED to see METALSTORM ONE 🎬💥⚡️🔥👾 Also .. I just cannot get “I Was Made For Loving You” out of my head! Damn those KISS boys and their perfectly used song amid a perfectly awesome ironically meta soundtrack 😎🤩"

"This was kind of a fun popcorn movie. There are tons of action sequences and over-the-top stunts, as I expected there would be. But the story has all the earmarks of a Scooby Doo Mystery so no awards are being handed out in that department. It has a longer runtime than was needed but had a good pace and flow to it. The message comes through loud and clear, that the stunt men and women are the unsung heroes of the movie business. 7.5/10"
