He seems to have changed after behavior modification, but not really. Now I see why Malcolm McDowell always chose such strange projects in his career. Perhaps he was trying to chase the feel of this disaster movie, trying to repeat the "magic." Warning: ⚠️ Nude scenes featuring female assault."

"What’s worse gang violence or state manipulation of individual will? I know you’re not suppose to sympathize with a sociopath but you’ll end up tied to him due to what he’s put through. "

"I think this is the only movie of Stanley’s I like really. It’s so weird and almost wacky like a child’s look on violence which isn’t to surprising constituting the age of Alex..he’s really just a child doing these horrible things. We are seeing all these things through his lens so I feel like there’s an aspect of imagination with all of this too! But also I liked how (just like in real life) this “reform” doesn’t end up working because they but a bandaid on a gaping wound with violence no less!"

"I really wish I enjoyed this movie more than I did. On a technical level, it’s undeniably impressive. Stanley Kubrick is a master behind the camera and the score was perfect for the dystopian world the film creates. His use of wide angle shots adds a unique perspective of the environment these characters inhabit. Unfortunately I was a bit confused about how I should feel… Thematically it was all over the place and the ending did not work for me at all😕 I guess I gotta read the book now"
