"So much has changed since the 1960s. So much has also stayed the same. Fantastic movie that is less about the story and more about the misadventures and conversations characters have during a cross-country trip. It's a silly road trip movie with moments that are actually quite deep and thought-provoking."
"An incredibly fascinating film to say the least! Following the journey of two men trying to make a long trip from Los Angeles to Louisiana to attend Marti Gras via their motorcycles, this slow-burn film perfectly captures the feeling of going on a long road trip quite well. Strong performances (Jack Nicholson MVP, who broke out thanks to this film and earned his first of 12 acting Oscar nominations (the most by any male actor)) along with dialogues that have a really organic, lived-in quality to them. Cool soundtrack too!"

"10/10. One of my favourite films of all time. Produced, written, directed and acted by Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda, this really demonstrates the brilliance of these 2 counter-culture Hollywood figures. This is a slice of young angst and Americana from the late 60s. The hippie and anti-establishment movements were taking shape with America's young and this film was a rallying cry."
"Classic must see "
