"A dark comedy with a very unlikable "main" character (theres a warning before the movie starts) and a very lovable MAIN character played brilliantly by Mia Isaac! She really shined in this movie and took over the spotlight, it's worth watching just to see how she moves you to tears. Also whoever wrote the spoken word pieces did it incredibly, paired with Mia's delivery it gave such a voice to the deeper message of the movie. Definitely recommend "
"Did not expect to like this as much as I did. I will say some moments did come off cringey or maybe that’s just the discomfort I felt given the basis of the plot. With a lie like that people will get angry , people will be hurt by it. However, I felt this dark comedy still managed to really drive its message home with characters that at the very least make you feel something. "
"Mia Isaac definitely carried this film because if not for her I would have cut it off."

"Movie with a strong message about working to own yourself and your story instead of hiding behind drastic lies that can hurt and damage countless people. Not feeling comfortable with yourself is one thing, but pretending to be a victim of trauma is appalling and cruel and can take an eternity to rebuild from. This narrative was appropriately not clean-cut, but rather raw, real, and impactful as was the beautiful, intricately laid out slam poetry piece at the end. "
