"planted evidence? sham trials? multi-government coverups? We will never know but the most admirable persistance by Jim Swire to seek the truth for his daughter and all the innocent victims! The world has been fooled by a few super powers for 30 years and continues to be. Amazing, gut wrenching performances and hats off to Colin Firth once again. A must see!"

"This series completely surprised me, since I figured it was just a straight-shot account of a tragic true-story. I vaguely remember the bombing and crash of this plane at Christmas-time in 1988, over Lockerbie, Scotland, when I was 15…but I do not remember the trial and controversy that followed. Jim Swire became so obsessed with finding the perpetrators who killed his daughter that he nearly lost his family in the decades that followed. It’s a poignant story of one family’s struggle with grief, that spreads to another family’s through a painful connection. What makes it even more interesting (and troubling) is the possible (and likely) involvement of various other identities and cover-ups. Conspiracy theories abound. Colin Firth, as always, is amazing to watch, though you totally forget he’s acting. Highly recommend this limited series streaming on Peacock.🦚 "

"I learned a lot about this tragedy and its aftermath watching this show, especially the uncertainty from some of the guilt of the convicted Lybian. "
