"This is a Netflix must watch. It’s so much more than a cheer docuseries- which wouldn’t normally peak my interest. It follows a community college as they prep for nationals. The students have challenging backgrounds that will leave you in tears and have you jumping and cheering them on from your couch"
"I’m not interested in cheerleading whatsoever, but after watching both seasons i am fascinated by the sport 100%. The show also did a great job captivating each character which I loved. I was so nervous when they were at Daytona because I cared so much for these people who didn’t even know I exsist 𝨭"
"First season was fun and competitive. Dug deep into a number of people on the team and you watched them grow. Second season was dark, kind of sad, and mostly working through controversy and interior problems. Both were good. Really good. But they didn’t even feel like the same show. Pick the season that sounds more like your jam 🤷♀️"
"The most dangerous collegiate sport in America! Who knew? Small town and disadvantaged kids looking for fame and college scholarships. Is this reality show truthful or just TV real? I’m sure they are on their best behavior but the kids ARE charming on screen. When the cameras are gone, probably not so much. "
