"A classic, but as a woman the complete lack of urgency/concern in the attempted rape scene(S)(yes, plural) is deeply saddening and confusing. The main lead is a HUGE walking red flag. Does he change for the better for having met the main female lead, yes, but does the main female lead deserve better, also yes. Second male lead was very sweet, but I do wish he could have had an even better ending. All in all, even with the red flags, I was able to watch it through to the end, enjoying it as I did. If you are easily sensitive to abusive behavior, this drama is not for you. This drama has minor to major signs of extreme jealousy, possessiveness, and emotional manipulation. Usually you could write these off as typical k-drama romance tropes, where the main lead acts with their emotions and dramatics amplified tenfold, but this one definitely hits a bit differently that you can’t just disregard, only forge ahead. If you are like me and very desensitized to those sort of things in FICTIONAL MEDIA (not real life), maybe you’ll be able to push forward and find the drama entertaining. For me it wasn’t that hard to do so, I can’t say the same for others and they are completely valid for it. ❤️❤️❤️"
