"Is it supernatural or can it be scientifically explained? My hubs started watching this and suggested it to me. I'm currently watching this, and so far, I am enjoying it. Note: the series ends with season 4. I was sad to see this go because it was fun and weird and i loved the characters. I recommend it. "

"I'm absolutely thrilled to recommend this hidden gem of a #TVseries that I never knew existed! A friend also suggested it, and it's utterly #bingeworthy, blending #suspense, #mystery, #crime, #drama, #thriller, #psychological #horror, and #supernatural elements, with #poignant human moments and #witty #humor sprinkled in. I was hooked within 6 minutes, and by the 15-minute mark I was captivated by several central characters. The writing, acting, and direction are excellent and engaging right from the start! I'm now several episodes in, and it looks to be as promising as ‘The X-Files' was back in the day, with its #intriguing #investigations into #mysterious and #paranormal phenomena, #monsters, and #lore, all wrapped up in an overarching story arc. "Finished the series finale and I loved this entire show. There’s a scene in S4E13 between Andrea Martin and Wallace Shawn (from Princess Bride!) that made me laugh harder than I had in weeks. I love every single character and am going miss them all. "

"this is a perfect example of why I am such a critical reviewer. as a philosopher and theologian who has been pondering the question that is the very premise of this show for the past year I find this very basic and uncreative they should have reached out to more creative minds for input. from the religious/spiritual lens this is just a rehash of dualistic and fundamentalist beliefs and from the scientific lens this is just a dogmaticly postive portrayal of the psychological sciences as being especially rational and therefore deserving of being on an ethical high horse. imo it's all quite dull and silly but to each their own. "

"This show has been on my watch list for a long time. It finally started playing on its own and I was hooked. I have caught up to the current season 4 in just over one week. This cast is a great combination, the team's dynamic is an interesting combo. The cases are perplexing at times. This show can be creepy and build tension and then be hilarious. They don't leave loose ends. So unanswered happenings always come back up. Great show. 4.5 stars"

"I watched the first season a few years ago and loved it. I hoped there would be more seasons and I'm happy to say that there were. I just started watching it again with my daughter this time and it's just as good the second time. We're about halfway done with the first season. The first and second seasons are available on Netflix. The third and fourth seasons are on Paramount+. There was supposed to be a very short fifth season with only four episodes but it looks like Paramount pulled the plug on it. The show is shopping around for a new home and it's possible Netflix might pick it up, but sadly there hasn't been any word yet. This a very excellent show and Michael Emerson is exceptional, as usual!"
