I’m a devout “serious” (aka sad) book reader that needs a fun book every once in a while. However, I find much of the commercial genre fiction out there has an interesting premise, but the writing is not good. Can you suggest a book that could be called literary fiction, but also has action/adventure, mystery, sci-fi or romance? (One book I love is Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel. It’s sci-fi meets lit fic).
