"LOVE THIS BOOK SERIES!!! It’s amazing!! I completely recommend. One of my favorites along with the hunger games. This book was really good!! I envisioned the ending a bit differently but it was still good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK SERIES!!!!! Welp… I’m off to go cry and mourn over this series. Ahhhhhh why do books have to end. 🥹"

"I recommended “The Gender Game” a few weeks back, and in that time I completed the series! I was a little worried that the books would get boring but boy was I mistaken. I am in love with these characters and I will always recommend this series to anyone. I especially recommend this series to people who like the “Divergent” series and “The Hunger Games”. And, of course, if you’re like me and just love everything dystopian. This series will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Happy reading! "

"4.5 stars<br/><br/>The last book was very thrilling and action-packed; we lost some good characters, but that was expected. I’ll never complain about a HEA, but the ending felt a bit too sappy for a dystopian novel. It was a really good series, but it could have been written in 4 or 5 books instead of 7. <br/><br/>Negatives:<br/>Violet’s character development was absolutely crazy. I truly loved her character in the first book, but by the last book, she doesn’t even seem like the same character anymore."
"TLDR, I enjoyed this book (and series) as a romance novel/series but not as a sci-fi dystopian fiction.<br/><br/>"Isn’t that the point of love—to be ridiculous with, to, and for each other?"<br/>-Owen<br/><br/>I feel ashamed to not give this a lower rating because of its lack of diversity. The only POC was Samuel and he played a meaningful role in 2 out of 7 books. Almost every character has eurocentric features and after a while I kind of lost track of which people had blue eyes and which had green eyes. Even the people who were of Hispanic ethnicity were described as Caucasian. I understand race =/= ethnicity but how are you going to create an entire group of characters who are white, with one black person and a handful of Hispanic people, only to make the Hispanic people white too? At least in The Girl Who Dared To Think, the MC is Hispanic and her appearance doesn't actually scream white washing. <br/><br/>The scene where they discover the Tower felt like fitting a jigsaw piece into the wrong puzzle. Although I did enjoy it and found it rather amusing, I feel like it was included into the book just for the sake of tying it together with The Girl Who Dared To Think. <br/><br/>Overall, this series was way longer than it needed to be. I only stuck with it because Viggo is a gem of a character. Like I said, I still enjoyed this book and series as a romance, but not much more than that."
