This was a completely unrealistic premise with wayyyyy too much description, metaphors, internal monologues etc. A tremendous amount of pages to tell what turned out to be a fairly straightforward (and absurd) story. I’ve also never seen a book take so long to wrap up. You get to the turning point, and then oh wait there are still many, many more chapters."
