As Good as Dead

"I am quite dissappinted at this YA book! It is the last in the trilogy of "a good girl guide to mirder",but daymn it is dark af! First I had a hard time reading it due to the darkness of PTSD, which trust me I am familiar with, but the writing was just redundant, I don't need to relive the whole scene with the characters everytime she has an episode, I am not reading a mental health book, I loved the etiology because it was quirky and had dark humor in the beginning, now we are in pure darkness. The teen 'pip, went from a good girl to good girl died and now there is vengeance demon emerging. I really stopped reading this book like 25 times, I had to go read something else, to cleanse my mental palette and come back to it if you will. Then it gets worse, really worse and I was like wth. The author trying to make a complete messed up circle of events, why are you doing that in the last book, some of the events were not even mentioned in the first 2 books. Anyway, lesson is good people turn dark because of life events they can't deal with. But, imo you don't bring other in the darkness with you, don't ruin other people because you are. You seek help and improve. Main character was too egoistic to ask for help or seek therapy. What are you teaching young people here?! I will post a video about this, cause I have too much to say. I also think #Oliviarodrigo should write a song about this book. I mean I heard #cantcatchmenow after I finished the book and the song was dark 😳 so yeah. "This book was good although I liked the first half more. everything made sense that happened but I do wish Pippa made better choices I know she was on a downward spiral and has ptsd but I feel like she could've done things differently. But it did have a satisfyingish ending."

I was pretty invested until about the halfway mark when it takes a darker turn, one I wasn’t mentally prepared for. I’m still not sure how I feel about it. However, I am excited to start the new TV show based off the first book. I hope they do it justice. "

"3 stars seems harsh but 4 stars is too good. Don’t get me wrong i LOVED this book but it infuriated me. I feel like Pips entire personality changed halfway through like the way she handled it was not the pip i loved in the first two book. near the end i was a little more understanding but at the same time still aggravated. if you’ve read the series or thinking about it i still EXTREMELY recommend all of the books but this 3rd book was just my least favorite "
