"This reboot of the teenage mutant ninja turtles for idw comics is great. It respects the tmnt legacy as it takes inspiration from tmnt’s many many incarnations but is not afraid to do its own thing. It’s one of the more ground and serious takes but never loses its sense of adventure or fun. The art in this first volume is rough as it attempts to homage the original tmnt comics art but I wasn’t a fan of that style even if it was the og. Overall this is a great comic for new and old fans alike."
