"I really enjoyed this book. Although slower than I thought it would be from the summary, I really appreciated the emphasis on characters and relationships. I loved how all of Zahru’s decisions actually made sense and how she struggled with her mind versus her heart. I think this was much more enjoyable than most other YA genre books that are of the same ilk and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a more character driven, realistic portrayal of fantasy YA books.
