"<strong>Intriguing </strong><br/><br/>This story is a must read historical fiction. I think it brings a huge sense of reality to the people who might not be aware of such occurrences. Though this was hard to read in certain parts, it was something that I didn’t want to put down. I recommend this book to anyone 12+ who is interested in historical fiction. This story follows Cassie Logan and her family in the racist south of the 1950s. Cassie is a strong-willed girl who gives a fantastic perspective of this story. I greatly recommend this book."
