"Pitch-perfect...gives me all the feels, and I love every one of them!"—Ali Hazelwood, New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis “Ashley makes favorite rom-com tropes feel new again with a pitch-perfect friends-to-lovers story.” —Publishers Weekly starred reviewWould you rather play it safe in the friend zone, or risk it all with a modern marriage of convenience?Noah and Mia have always been best friends, and their friendship is the most important thing to them. Life is going great for Noah and he’s up for a promotion in a job he loves. But Mia’s life is on hold as she awaits a kidney transplant. She’s stuck in a dead-end job and, never wanting to be a burden, has sworn off all romance. So when the chance of a lifetime comes to go back to school and pursue her dream, it’s especially painful to pass up. She can’t quit her job or she’ll lose the medical insurance she so desperately needs. To support her, Noah suggests they get married—in name only—so she can study full-time and still keep the insurance. It’s a risk to both of them, with jobs, health and hearts on the line, and they’ll need to convince suspicious coworkers and nosy roommates that they’re the real deal. But if they can let go of all the baggage holding them back, they might realize that they would rather be together forever.

"This book was really enjoyable. I love the friends-to-lovers trope and I thought the marriage of convince was a good spin on it. Pointing out how the stupid healthcare system is a plus for me. Being nit picky, I thought there was a little less character development then I would like and it spent a bit too much time with each character secreting being in love with their best friend. However, still a cute read! 2/5 for spice"

"This book was so cute, but was also realistic. A relationship is meant to not be a permanent stop in time where you don’t continue to develop as a person. You grow together and sometimes it take a lot to get to that point. Of realizing that your actions have effect on everyone and you have to consider everyone’s point of view. Noah and Mia were endgame. I’m so happy knowing they are. Also, it’s so refreshing to see couples supporting each other in their goals. Yes!"
"I hadn’t ever heard of this book or author before but decided to read it because it was available on libby! I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it! it’s a cute story with cute characters. I love (childhood) friends-to-lovers and this one had an interesting plot with the “convincing her to marry him” idea. I loved Noah’s love for Mia and how their relationship blossomed as soon as they revealed their feelings for each other! it’s closed door, but it has a decent amount of references to it, just no description. 4.25/5 ⭐️"
"3.75 stars - I enjoyed this story even though I’m not the biggest fan of friends to lovers. However, I love he fell first and mutual pining which are also present in this book! I just felt like Would You Rather didn’t pack as big of a punch as The Roommate Pact."

🎵 Book song: Favorite T-Shirt by Jake Scott 🎵
Have you ever looked deep into the eyes of the person you love and thought... "I can't wait to super glue the tennis balls of your walker to the nursing home floor?"
Then bro. These guys are #relationshipgoals
Anyone can write up the kind of love that includes mind blowing sex and pet names that makes everyone within a 100 foot radius of you mildly nauseated 🤢.
It takes a special kind of author to weave romance in Saran wrap warfare and a series of elaborate (and borderline sociopathic) office pranks.
And that's Mia and Noah's love language.
...And apparently mine now, too"
"3.5/5 ⭐️ I absolutely loved this book, I thought it was so cute and wholesome. The amount of love Noah has for Mia is so precious it made my heart full. This was a cute and fast read, and as much as I loved it I feel like this book very much is like Purple hearts, in the sense that this book is fake marriage trope because the female character needs health insurance to cover her illness and medications. But other than the book is cute and a fast read. I would reccomend it if you need a fast read for a day "
