Read AllaboutitI don't know what I loved more: The unabashed representation of an autistic female lead in a romance novel The author's portrayal of said female lead's sexual awakening in a way that 100% respected her agency and autonomy The details of said sexual awakening 👀 Or the fact that this was a friends-to- lovers romance where the female lead did not totally lose all sense of self respect and interest in her own life. ... Who am I kidding? It's the last one. Idk what it is about the friends-to-lovers trope that requires a woman's self worth to drop lower than Beyonce at a halftime show but it's exhausting 🙄 And this book a WONDERFUL departure from that. Sure she has her moments of self-doubt (we all do), but this is a chick who really truly had a life before dating and is fully prepared to have one with or without her mans. We love to see it 🫰🏾👏🏾 Will definitely be diving into more books from this author ❤️
