"*WARNING THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS* No, just no. I won't be continuing this series at all. I'm highly disappointed. I could not handle all the mumble jumble of the "plot". It sucked to be honest(no pun intended). I was excited to start this book because well it has vampires! But once I started reading it, I didn't like it at all. I was just thrown into this story without any knowledge of what is going on. It legit felt like I had to read a whole other book or something to understand what was happening. Some parts were okay, but it just didn't work. The characters felt flat to me, they had no "personality" to them if that makes sense. The fact that the twins are lovers is just plain gross. It didn't feel right. This whole book felt rushed and the writing didn't make it any better. I most definitely didn't like the many, many POVs, and to add on top of that they changed mid paragraph, so I couldn't really tell who was "talking" when it was like a light switch going off and on switching between 3 different characters at a time. I will say the plot had potential, I liked the blue blood take on vampires, especially when it describes the past lifetimes and all that but I would have liked to known about that more towards the beginning/middle and not the end, thank you very much. The plot twists suck, I already knew who did it, and who was what and all that. I will say again, I will not be reading book 2, even though I own 2 and 3, I will not be wasting my time on a badly written book series(in my opinion)."
"I'm a sucker for a vampire story. I greatly enjoy discovering different writers versions of vampires. This book was a fun, easy read. I will definitely read the next installment for sure. I love how the end left you completely hanging and needing to read on. I enjoyed how nothing was answered or resolved. A good book :)"
