"This honestly was decent, and the chemistry was there,... And this could have easily been a 2 star, if it weren't for the internalized misogyny. It just turns me off. I don't want to root for a heroine calling another woman a "bitch" or other names, ya know. I am tired of that trope. And I am tired of other women being "mean" or attacking the heroine over the hero... fighting over a man will never be something I like to read. Authors should write better female characters, whether they are the heroine or not. And books that treat every other woman who is not the heroine like ****/a threat to the heroine, etc... is a misogynistic cliche that I will no longer tolerate. Also, if a man were to take my things and throw them into the streets and scream at me to get out of his house, I don't think my pride would let me stay. I'd disappear from his life before he could finish the sentence, lol. But this heroine has no pride, I guess. Also, I don't like when heroines grovel... and after their break up, SHE was the one to go back to him... um, I don't like that."

"There were things I liked and things that just annoyed me about this one. I liked the story of the misunderstood football player. He's not just another pretty face. He's smart and not coasting through college with a football ride. He's doing the work and cares about himself and his education. What I didn't like was Anna's men are scum outlook. Sure, that changes, but I wasn't given enough to make this seem like a good enough reason to treat someone like she did. Sure it helps that she really is attracted to the hot football star and that she isn't interested in him because of his stardom. I think Anna's body issues were relatable. I understood where she came from and I think most of us have been in her shoes. I'm glad that she wasn't some stick thin stereotypical heroine who looks like a runway model and doesn't know it. I think her resolve at the end of the book was a sign of real love. The fighting for what you want and for your partner. I did like this well enough to finish, even though I yelled at Anna at times to knock it off when she was being weird about men."

"This one took me a bit to get into, the instant attraction/obsession was a little unbelievable for me at first. However by mid book I was hooked on the characters and their story. Overall a good, super steamy read. Would recommend!"
