"Listen. I know that some ppl really hated this book, but I loved it more than the first one, Leila is such a spunky + badass + strong woman who is also soft + kind when she can be. She is one of my fav protagonists of all time, really, I just really relate to her (not in the ‘my father is trying to kill me’ way, more in the ‘I also grew up in chaos where my life was sometimes put in the line for other ppl’s gain’ way) — she is funny + witty + her relationship w/ Tobias is so pure + sweet "
