"I love how much this book enrages different cultures and religions! The cultural diversity is just outstanding! It really shows how important culture is to some people in other communities, and also how it hurts them. Unfortunately, being a part of a different culture or race doesn’t help a whole lot when you sexually identify differently, but these characters show how to be strong when things seem to be pushing down on you. Beautiful, funny, and romantic, I highly suggest this read. 💕"

"Solid 9/10. I absolutely LOVED this book to pieces. The romance was spectacular, the poc and lgbtq representation was immaculate. I loved it so so much. I definitely recommend especially for some lgbtq+ and/or poc teens:) "

"Didn’t like the main character’s selfish attitude, the story plods through the first half, some of the cultural/social issues brought up felt lacking, and the side characters—including the love interest to a degree—were rather flat and dull."

"A lot of emotions in this book thats for sure. The trigger warning at the start should have been a sign but who uses instructions manuals? Anyways, cute ending, nicely wrapped acceptance from family even after *trauma*. Absolutely love the siblung relationship~ And yes, it is weird to dating a girl who is cousin to your mortal enemy. Anyways, 3.4/5"
