By the Book (a Meant to Be Novel)

laurenmr shared a tip "I was really reluctant to keep reading this book because it started off so cheesy. Izzy talks to a bathtub and hears it talking back to her. I get this is a nod to Beauty and the Beast but it really just made me roll my eyes. However, this book really improved as it went on. The relationship between Izzy and Beau really improved and I liked how their communication improved throughout the book. However, I feel like so much of the relationship revolves around the snack cabinet, which is just weird"

I adore the characters and I think it did a really good job building up beau and the relationship and some times you just need a fluffy romance and that’s what I needed at the moment."

This one’s for you.” Izzy and Beau are the perfect match… the way he talks about her in the end… my heart melted “‘Well.’ He sat down across from her, still staring at her. “Wherever you got that from, God bless them, that’s all I have to say.’” This is a modern beauty and the beast!"

I understood the reference to Beauty and the Beast, but felt it was unnecessary. Love the characters and the moral of the story. Great love story. 8/10 would recommend."
