"Okay Honey.

I only read this book because the 3rd book teased actual story.
And it was so disappointing and again problematic.

But I figured out a way to enjoy this book series more. I just don't read the words "Honey" and "okay" anymore. Hot scenes are suddenly less cringe, characters don't sound stupid anymore.
And by the Gods I don't understand why every female MC of this series sound the same. Utterly the same. It's not cute, it's annoying. Those are supposedly women in their 30th talking like teenagers. I just don't want to read an "Okay Honey" ever again.

The idea and world building behind this series has so much potential.. and is absolutely destroyed by flat story and annoying character.

Only because a guy is hot doesn't make him being abusive okay. This book kinda touched on that topic, after the unacceptable rape fiasco from the 2nd book. But still how dominant, demanding guys are portrayed is not ok. I don't mind dominant, I mind abusive. It's not sexy and cute, it's abuse.

I am hate reading this series and don't know why I bothered. And I will not touch the last one. The story conclusion of this book left me utterly disappointed. And the sex wasn't even that good, so much teasing about more spicy stuff and nothing happens."
"Loved this series. Enjoyed it tremendously."
