"*WARNING THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS* Not as good as the 2nd one, but still had me intrigued. I feel like there was good development and then other times it was just the same old thing with "Oh everyone can't tell me anything, so I'm not going to listen to their cryptic warnings..." The whole going back in time thing was pretty cool, typically I don't enjoy the whole "time travel" thing but I really liked this one. I loved to see all of her past lives, and how different she was in each one. But Luce still got on my nerves with her not understanding anything and even when she started to, she was still like "I'm going to go see another one, just to be sure". Like seriously, just stop. The dual pov, was great, I kind of felt bad for Daniel though. Luce kept saying, "I feel so bad for torturing daniel by dying over and over again." And yet she's putting him through more torture by constantly going through her past lives without any guidance. Although I did like that twist with Bill, that was really good. I don't like reading about the bad guy but I'll push through lol. Onto the next book!"
"This book.... is... a total letdown.

The previous two books of this, I really enjoyed.

Once this 3rd book kicked in, I just couldn’t get into it and from reading reviews.. it never gets better.

I’m so crushed the franchise wasn’t what was expected.

What I disliked about this book, was the going back and forth between historic periods. I felt I never understood where exactly it was going, or what the message was behind the fact that Luce was trying to save Daniel.

I guess I’ll never know why she went through so many eras and moments in time, and see if Daniel and Luce really do even make it? I really don’t think I can ever finish this, let alone pick up where I left off. As a matter of fact, I don’t even have this book anymore."
"I loved this book! It was great getting to see all of Luce's past lives and how she reacted to all of her own deaths. It was also enlightening to see the many reactions Daniel had to her deaths. The plot thickens and I can't wait to see how it all ends up in Rapture!!!"
