Topic: One of Us Is Lying
I started watching the show for One of Us is Lying but I haven’t read it (and probably won’t). I wanna hear from the perspective of someone who has read it. Is the show as good as the book? Is the book better? What do you think?

Adeline Connolly I haven’t watched the show, but I’ve read a lot of books and this still up stands. The author is a great writer and made it such an interesting read; highly recommend if you like the show

blue I read the book a couple years ago, and just saw the first episode. honestly? it holds up. obviously it's not exactly how I pictured it, and the actors are a little awkward but it sorta fits the high school vibes. I kept waiting for there to be something glaringly terrible but so far it's fun and accurate and I really like it! and it's DEFINITELY better than your average ya adaptation, so I'm all for it

Danica Asbridge I read the book and loved it. I just found out about the show the other day and I'm thinking about trying Paramount+ just so I can watch this. As long as they stick with the same twists as they happened in the book, I'll be happy.

Faith Genus Sooo I just watched episode one and so far I can count like 8 things that are missing and some of them are small and not a big deal and were replaced but still.

Faith Genus This is my first time reading a book and watching the show now I finally know how the people that read the book first feel. I can't stop analyzing the show and being like umm this didn't happen or where is *insert scene that was in the book*

Faith Genus And not to mention the cast, they don't really look like 17 year olds but that's not my problem because teenagers in movies and shows never look like actual teenagers. But Nate looks nothing like I imagined hes not even supposed to be blonde and where are Bronwyn glasses? But it's fine.

ashleigh I read the book a few months ago and didn’t really like it. In my opinion the show is way more interesting and i would just opt to the show!! :)

Madilyn I really liked the book even though it was a little easy to guess the ending, but it was still good. Honestly, I think I liked the book better but the show is actually good. Way better than I thought it’d be and I’m going to keep watching.
