Topic: On Basilisk Station
So I'm a few chapters into this. So far, I have mixed feelings about it. The worldbuilding So far is pretty interesting. The m.c. is solid from the little that I've gotten. The problems I'm seeing are - 1: Lots of name dropping. Lots of characters who, so far, don't seem to have much to do with the story, all in a very short period of time. Apart from the m.c., I'm having a really hard time discerning who's who. 2: The narrative style is very odd. It bounces around a lot, seemingly at random...

Road Master points. It's a bit difficult to follow what's happening or why. Does anybody else have thoughts or opinions on this?

David Rachau I notice that in a lot of Epic Fantasy. I've never read this series, but the description sounds interesting.
