Madison C So, I could be wrong here...but isn't Calum one of the resistance leaders??? I was really confused when he showed up for the first time in Reckless, because I could faintly remember him from Powerless, but I couldn't quite place him right away. Looking back, I think that was just because we only ever saw him from Kitt's POV, and obviously Kitt wouldn't know that he's part of the resistance, therefore he seems like a different person. He's clearly been pulling Kitt's strings and he gave him the engaging ring, so maybe he's the one trying to get Paedyn on the throne?

BookLover Same, like I think kitt is just broken and has gotten betrayed too many times. Ok but one thing, there is absolutely no way he did not see Kai and Pae totally falling for eachother??? Like I think he should kinda back off?? But like kitt doesn’t deserve this grief.

Madison C Oooo another good one is Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson! It's a really fun duology! It's connected to The Remnant Chronicles, but you don't have to read both series. I actually read Dance of Thieves first and understood everything well enough. It's my favorite book set in that universe!

Maria Dumitrescu Ok.. am I the only one who loved the banter, the tension and basically every interaction between Kai and Pae but wanted to skip over the Kitt pov’s because they seemed kind of boring to me? Also, potentially hot take but I need to discuss this with someone. Am I the only one who thinks that Reckless lacked plot? Because hear me out… the entire time Kai was chasing around Pae and dragging her back to Ilya but that was the entire plot? Like ok…there were some cute subplots and tropes and we all know that Kai has a way with words 😍…but it’s lacking plot, it’s lacking movement of the story line. I love that they finally confessed their feelings for each other ( kind of) but still.
