"Finished this charmer in two sittings! It stretches across a year between two Christmases and is a great choice if you’re looking for something low on angst but not without emotion. I wanted to be best friends with the smart, funny heroine. And the hero, Max, is just 😍 #slowburn #friendstolovers "
"3.5/5
I picked this one up on a whim I was liked the cover lol and wanted a festive read sadly I didn't care for this read all that much there are parts I did like and parts that had me laughing and enjoying & the story, but it was mostly pretty cringing the trope was enemies to lover, but she literally had no reason to dislike him, and she folded so quick that’s I’m not even sure if it’s worth saying it’s enemies to lovers the whole beginning, felt so pointless there also wasn't that much banter which is my favorite thing in a romance overall I more liked their friendship way more then anything That was pretty cute, and the tension and spice were good too, also I was so bummed because it’s not festive enough we only get about three chapters that where festive wouldn't recommend this one for the holiday reads it was an okay book nothing to rave about tho "
"I love reading romance books, but they always beg the question: WHERE IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE?! WHERE ARE THEY?! FIND ME FASTER PLEASE!
I loved this book so much. It was cute and funny and sweet. It took place over the course of a few years and I thought that was very accurate. It was a bit spicy, but it was also romantic. I loved the characters and the relationship development in the story.
Overall 5/5 stars! It was super great and I’d love to read another rom com by Jenny Holiday!
Also Vince can burn in hell."
