Books | Young Adult Fiction / Action & Adventure / Survival Stories
The first book in the New York Times bestselling series that inspired the hit CW television show. No one has set foot on Earth in centuries – until now. Ever since a devastating nuclear war, humanity has lived on spaceships far above Earth's radioactive surface. Now, one hundred juvenile delinquents -- considered expendable by society -- are being sent on a dangerous mission: to recolonize the planet. It could be their second chance at life...or it could be a suicide mission. CLARKE was arrested for treason, though she's haunted by the memory of what she really did. WELLS, the chancellor's son, came to Earth for the girl he loves -- but will she ever forgive him? Reckless BELLAMY fought his way onto the transport pod to protect his sister, the other half of the only pair of siblings in the universe. And GLASS managed to escape back onto the ship, only to find that life there is just as dangerous as she feared it would be on Earth. Confronted with a savage land and haunted by secrets from their pasts, the hundred must fight to survive. They were never meant to be heroes, but they may be mankind's last hope.

"absolutely loved it! wasn’t like the tv show, but it was really good and interesting. i loved reading everyone’s side of the story! "
"Don't watch season seven. In fact, heres a few places you can choose to stop at: 1.the past(the best of the series, s01-s02) 2.the present(s03-s04) 3. The future(s05-s06) and just don't watch the seventh season, just don't. I would strongky suggest watching to the end of s05 & stopping there."
"It was a slow start, but honestly quite a page turner near the end, i had no idea it had a sequel, but if your into a trilogy, read the 100"
"This was an amazing book! Although very different form the t.v. Show it was still good! If you like the show I highly recommend the book series."
"Honestly, I was just not entertained. It seemed like something I would like, but I could not get attached to the characters, and I didn’t like the direction that the romantic relationships were going. I finished a good chunk of the series but didn’t read the last book because I couldn’t do it anymore. It was a great idea and other people like it, it just wasn’t for me."
