Cardcaptor Sakura

"I’ve seen around 50 to 60 episodes. Simple monster (card) of the week. Characters are slowly introduced and plot beats have been slowly added which will probably lead to bigger payoffs later on. I particularly enjoy the lightheartedness of the show. Their is no subversion or deconstruction or grittiness so to speak. Just enjoy the heroine and her multiple outfits. The ED is also groooovy! "

"This anime was the absolute cutest with a lovable main character and a new battle outfit every episode. It can feel a bit repetitive, which is why it’s not really a binging show in my opinion. There’s some weird moments that make you feel uncomfortable, but overall I’d say the show is lovely and a great introduction to anime…if you don’t want the dub because IN MY OPINION it’s awful. ^^"

"The dub is pretty bad with very annoying voices and repeating words in a sentence multiple times. The show also has some issues with what's appropriate when it comes to ages in relationships. There were MULTIPLE minors in the show being in relationships with adults or people much older than them. It's understandable for a child to like someone older than them, but it should have stopped there. That aside, the show had wonderful outfits, some very good morals, funny characters, some lgbt rep (although for some of the dialogue that had evidence of it were taken out of the dub..) and a pretty interesting plot. "
