Kathryn said Duology. Leigh is my favorite author, and the universe these books and the shadow and bone trilogy take place in is just incredible. This is my first recommendation to anyone.

Kathryn said A 3 book series with a 4th novella and more books in the same universe to come. Book one is the worst in the trilogy, but stick through it to learn the world, and it will pay off in a BIG way when you read the last two books
