Deena said Queer films follow a recipe: coming out stories, cheating, death, don't end up together, etc. I was upset this wasn't a rom-com in the way that straight ppl get romcoms as that's all I want in my queer life. However, I did like this film as the queer characters did feel real and their story was relatable. This film can be triggering I feel like for those who did not have supportive parents when they came out. It had its flaws but I still watched it 3 times. The acting was great. I also cried
